a day in the life...

I'm so excited to tell you all about an upcoming series that I'm so happy to be hosting here on the Sadie blog. It's called a day in the life... and it's going to be a round-up of photos and words from some of my favourite bloggers from all over the place (seriously, Sweden to Korea, I think)! The theme has been left open-ended so that each person can put their own spin on it. I'm going to start things off with a post next Monday, March 14th and then I'll let my fabulous guests take it from there. I'm so excited to see what everyone comes up with that I can hardly wait for it to start.

In the meantime, one of my favourite Beatles songs, perfect for a Sunday afternoon:

And really, a rather amazing live version:

  1. this sounds fun! looking forward to this series :)

  2. It seems great! I'll wait for it too!

  3. I am sooo behind on your blog....boooooooo :(
    This new feature sounds exciting!
I love the new necklaces! I want to sit and catch up on all of your posts!
I hope I will have time tomorrow :)

  4. This sounds wonderful! And that is one of my favorite Beatles songs too. :)

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I'm followin you now too!

  5. Hello Miss Sadie!

Lovely blog. HUGE Beattles lover. I'm now following you.

Thanks for spreading the comment love ;-)

  6. That sounds so cool! I can't wait to see :)

  7. Sarah, I am so excited about my post!
On another note, I went to see the Beatles Love show (Cirque du Soleil) two weeks ago.
I thought it was going to be like every other Cirque show on the strip.
It was truly magical and I had goosebumps the whole time.
So I've decided that the Beatles sold their souls to the devil...because there is no way anyone could have that many fantastic, recognizable songs!

  8. Everyone: I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS SERIES. Honestly, I wish it was starting this week! Can't wait to see what everyone submits. I know you will love the variety of posts so much!!! Thanks for your comments!

  9. the beatles = most amazing and best band and musical artist of all time.

always my most favorite and i would only ever marry an 'older' man if it were paul mccartney.

thanks fot the intro to the neil young version, very neat to see that played live!

they're music is so inspiring, it's crazy. sometimes i go a long time without listening to their music and it makes me realize how much it influences my life.
